Yesterday was the National Alpaca Farm Day Tour in our area and we went to see some of the alpacas. Everybody had a great time and there are plenty of pictures to check out.

“I wrote it down on paper, so it’s not hearsay, right?”
The photos from our road trip to watch the Auburn v. Kansas State game have been uploaded!
I was already a big fan of Kohl’s before last night. They have great prices on good clothes and they’re ALWAYS having a sale on something.
After last night, I’m now a HUGE fan of Kohl’s.
A few weeks ago, I bought quite a few new shirts and some new pants. After a week or so, I realized that I had gotten the wrong size for two of my shirts and another shirt just wouldn’t match any of the pants I own. We were already heading to Harrisonburg last night and we took my shirts with me to exchange them.
Just how easy is it to exchange something at Kohl’s? We walked in, found the replacement shirts in a couple of minutes, stood in the checkout line, then got to the cashier. We explained that we wanted to exchange the shirts and she simply scanned the old shirts and then scanned the new shirts and we were done. In fact, one of the old shirts was now considered a Clearance item and rung up as such. The cashier just canceled it and entered the price on the tag and kept on moving.
We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. Seriously. I don’t think I’ve ever had an exchange that was as easy or went as smooth as the one last night and I can’t understand why more stores don’t have a similar model.
Hooray, Kohl’s!
We decided to take a road trip for this holiday weekend and decided to go here for a bit of fun. I’ll write up the longer version later.
